ReMAIOR project started in 2017. That vintage was outstanding and we decided to produce with those grapes a spumante obtained with the champenoise method (metodo classico) instead of a Martinotti method (fermentation in tanks).
We named it ReMAIOR (from Latin), with the meaning of "the Great". It's a wine deliciously "simple" at the beginning that became "simply perfect" thanks to the second fermentation in the bottle and the 24 months in contact with lees.
The old vines of our Col del Lupo vineyard produce grapes with a marked acidity, high sugar content and intense fragrances. After ageing the wine 24 months on lees, we got a harmoniously well-balanced, exquisite and seductive Valdobbiadene DOCG metodo classico dosage zero.
It's a limited edition, we produced only 547 bottles. Each of them is numbered by hand.
